Global Health Trax, Inc. Selects New Board of Directors

VISTA, Calif.--January 22, 2013--Nutritional Supplement Firm to Expand Global Presence through Multi-Company Strategy

Shareholders of Global Health Trax, Inc. (GHT), one of the most trusted names in the nutritional supplement field for its digestive health expertise, have elected three veteran business and financial executives to its Board of Directors as part of its growth strategy. The selection of the Board members took place at the December 14, 2012 Annual Shareholder’s meeting in Carlsbad, California.

Named to the Board were Jim Rex, President/CEO of The GHT Companies; Bryan Geisbauer, Managing Director of Studley, Inc., and Salah Hassanein, President of SMH Entertainment.

Rex was recruited in 2009 to lead a turnaround at GHT and its wholly-owned subsidiary, Health Specialties Manufacturing, Inc. (HSM). With an extensive background in problem-solving and crisis management, and in conjunction with being a proven financial strategist, Rex brought an outstanding results-oriented history of transforming troubled companies into profitable business enterprises to the equation. Prior to his coming to the companies, there had been 12 consecutive years of financial losses experienced; however and after implementing an extensive strategic change process for each of the business units, the current fiscal yearend of December 31, 2012 will represent the 4th straight year of the companies showing a profit for the 60 Shareholders and under the guidance of Rex.

Geisbauer, of San Diego and who was elected by the Board as Chairman, has spent the last ten years of his career developing real estate strategies for major clients, including national law firms, professional service firms and Fortune 500 companies. He is a board member and past chairman of the MIT Enterprise Forum San Diego. He is the secretary for the Business Executives Council of San Diego. He has taken an active role in the community, serving on the San Diego Bowl Game Association, (the producers of the Holiday Bowl and Poinsettia Bowl), as the chairman of the sponsorship committee.

Hassanein currently invests most of his time in philanthropic and charitable efforts, which involves organizations and countries throughout the world. He is the second largest Shareholder of GHT and brings a tremendous business background to the Board, and an unparalleled resume in successful business ventures. He was formally President of Skouras Theatres Corporation, after being hired as a theater usher 14 years earlier. His success led him to assume critical roles with United Artists Communications, as an Executive Vice President, a member of the Board of Directors and the select President of United Artists Eastern Theaters, where he served until 1987. He was then appointed President of Warner Brothers International Theaters and was entrusted with the task of building a network of multiplex theaters in Europe, Japan and Australia. . In July of 1994, he assumed the Presidency of The Todd-AO Corporation, which he occupied until June of 2000. Currently, he is President of SMH Entertainment.

The company works with a global network of select Wholesale Distributors and Outside Sales Agents to promote and sell the products to consumers. This company also offers Order Fulfillment Services to customers, which includes warehousing, a controlled area for high value merchandise, real-time camera secured facility, inventory control, packaging, shipping and supportive reporting.

Health Specialties Manufacturing ('HSM') is focused on delivering manufacturing and production services for Private Label Lines and Contract Manufacturing projects to the nutritional supplement industry. Full in-house capabilities are supported by multiple production lines for both liquid and powder products, a Science Team for research and formulation purposes, and an industry leading Quality Assurance Program, all operating out of an FDA and GMP compliant facility.

Vibrant Nutraceuticals ('Vibrant') represents the newest company to join the industry-leading business group, The GHT Companies, beginning in October of 2012. Vibrant acquired the rights to a unique and select array of nutritional products; thus, the company is able to immediately offer a diversified selection of high quality Nutritional Supplements. These products are addressing the needs of varying sectors of the worldwide market, including Vegan and Vegetarian, Children, Immunity, and Basic Daily Health. A primary objective of Vibrant will be focused on delivering these high quality products at affordable prices.
