The Founding Scientists

For over 14 years, we have made it our mission to collaborate with innovative practitioners, nutritional experts, and scientists to realize their concepts and ideas into life changing products and applications. This cultivated group called "The Founding Scientists," is what makes GHT the unique, robust and respected organization in industries of nutrition and health.

What that means for business enterprise
Successful diversification. Is highly sought but rarely acquired. Our unwavering commitment to the "Founding Scientists" provides us with the strategic positioning to continually introduce industry-leading discoveries to the global markets through our diversified group of companies, resulting in optimal and comprehensive market exposure on behalf of our "Founding Scientists" partners.

How that benefits every GHT product you buy
Unique. You may not always be abe to see it, smell it or taste it but it is the critical ingredient that makes every GHT product pioneering, relevant and more effective.

VISTA, Calif.--September 21, 2011--Global Health Trax (GHT), one of the most trusted names in the nutritional supplement field for its digestive health expertise, has named Rick Wilson as the director of operations.

In his new position, Wilson will be responsible for overseeing the operational functions of GHT, which include management and oversight of the company’s supply chain, logistics, materials, inventory management, and distribution methods.

“The GHT brand has seen tremendous growth in the nutrition supplement field over the last few years and the time was right to add a key executive who can help us grow to the next level,” said Jim Rex, president and chief executive officer (CEO). “Rick’s expertise with supply chain management and operations will be critical to our success in growing in new niches and markets.”

Wilson brings more than 25 years of experience in operations and supply chain management, supporting multi-site operations and a worldwide supplier base. Prior to GHT, he served as director of operations for To Go Brands (TGB) for four years. When he started, TGB had one product that was sold through healthcare practitioners with less than $2 million in revenue. In 2007 under his leadership, the company launched Greens to Go at Costco. A year later, multiple products from To Go Brands could be purchased in over 20,000 retail outlets reaching over $21 million in sales. In these operations, Wilson built the necessary infrastructure to provide supply chain excellence from manufacturing to distribution always keeping the customer in mind.

For more than ten years, Wilson has been focused in the dietary supplement industry. In his five years at Metabolife International, he helped the company transition from multi-level marketing to retail with partners such as Wal-Mart, Target and Costco. In addition to TGB and Metabolife, Wilson has held operations positions at Naturade and Maxell Corporation of America, a consumer electronics division of Hitachi, where he built an 18-year career with management roles in operations, supply chain and plant management.
